MyAidKit is a medicine expiration tracker built with your privacy in mind. We don't require accounts, don't collect personal information, and keep your data under your control.
What MyAidKit Stores on Your Device
Medicine names, expiration dates, quantities, categories, symptoms, and kit organization are stored locally on your device.
iCloud Sync
If iCloud is enabled, your data syncs via Apple's CloudKit to keep it available across your devices. Shared kits use CloudKit Sharing so you can collaborate with family members. Apple manages this data under their own privacy policy. You can disable iCloud sync in your device Settings at any time.
Analytics
We collect anonymous usage events to understand how the app is used and improve it. Analytics is powered by Google Firebase. We track:
- App usage patterns (screens viewed, actions taken)
- Subscription status (Pro or Free)
- Theme preference
- Error events for debugging
We do not collect your name, email, precise location, or any health data. No personal information is attached to analytics events.
Advertising
Free tier users see banner and occasional interstitial ads powered by Google AdMob. Ad networks may use device identifiers for ad personalization and attribution via Apple's SKAdNetwork framework. Pro subscribers and users who purchased "Remove Ads" see no advertising. You can manage ad personalization in your device's Privacy & Security settings.
Camera
The camera is used solely for barcode and package scanning. No photos are stored or transmitted.
Notifications
All notifications are local. We don't send push notifications from a server. Reminders are scheduled on your device based on your medicine expiration dates and your notification preferences.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We don't see or store your payment information.
Data Export
You can export your data as JSON or CSV from Settings. These files are created locally on your device and are not uploaded anywhere.
No Accounts Required
MyAidKit doesn't require registration. There are no usernames, passwords, or email addresses collected.

Children's Privacy
MyAidKit does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us.
Your Rights
You can delete all your data at any time by removing the app and disabling iCloud sync for MyAidKit. For GDPR or CCPA requests, contact us at the address below.
